Traditional cream cake
Sweet with cream filling
Ingredients
for the dough:
- 1 egg;
- 100gr softened butter into pieces;
- 200gr flour;
- 2 tablespoons of sugar.
for the filling:
- 250ml fresh cream;
- 2 tablespoons of sugar;
- some flour;
- cinnamon powder.
Directions
Mix quickly the butter with sugar, egg and flour obtaining a mixture just a little softer than traditional pasta frolla, then roll it out with the help of slightly moistened hands in a previously greased and floured cake pan, leaving on the bottom of it small depressions created by fingers and preparing a board to accommodate the filling.
Mix the cream with sugar, a level spoonful of flour and cinnamon powder, pour it over the dough and sprinkle it with other cinnamon. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for about 25min (check the cooking edge of the dough), the filling will be cooked but still creamy.
Remove from oven and let it cool before serving.
