Le attività delle guide alpine della Val Pellice

The birth of the profession of alpine guide is usually date back to 1786, year of the first climb of Mont Blanc. Since then, the stronger and more enterprising mountaineers became the natural guides for the pioneers of climbing. In 1989, with official national recognition, the Alpine Guide, from mere accompanist, an expert of places, become a master who teaches how to move in the mountain on all types of terrain: from trails to ice, snow and rock.

In recent years, the alpine guides of the Valley have spent much of their time in nailing new climbing routes, in cleaning and signing pathways, and search for new alpine and ski alpine routes, with the aim to improve the tourist offer.

And even today, Roby, Paolo and Sandro with their thirty-years experience, are always excited to let discover mountain lovers the secrets of their valley in skiing, ice axe and crampons, in rackets, shoes in rock, or just in shoes hiking.
