The farm "Barfè Hut" is located in the Valley of Angrogna, 1220 m above sea level on the northern slope of Mount Vandalino. The Valley of Angrogna is part of Val Pellice.
The environment surrounding our farm is typical of the Alps: meadows and pastures alternate with woods of beech and birch trees, providing a quite habitat for wildlife and full of livelihood. The altitude not too high, the possibility to access the hut either by foot or by car and the unspoiled environment are just some of the attractions.Nature lovers can find splendid itineraries and enjoy pleasant moments of relaxation, the more sportive ones can find at the farm "Barfè Hut" a reference point for hiking and mountain biking in the summer, and snowshoeing and ski mountaineering in the winter.
All these insights plus the possibility to enjoy a lunch of Piedmontese specialities or a hearty “merenda sinoira” (sort of delicious brunch in the afternoon) with the anchovies "al verde" are an invitation to discover a corner of Val Pellice still unspoiled, and therefore able to offer some pleasant surprises.

How to reach us
There are two accesses to our Farm: one is passable by car or bicycle, the second one, forbidden to unauthorised vehicles, is easily walkable through (as well as by bicycle and on horseback).
About the access in winter, it is always recommended the second option described. The paved road of the Valley of Angrogna is normally cleaned and the hike from Barfè Bridge to the Agritourism "Barfè Hut" is passable in snowshoes or backcountry skiing on a generally beaten bottom without any danger of avalanches.
Access no. 1 (not passable in winter with snow)
From Torre Pellice, take the Viale Dante at the Trento Movie Theatre and continue along the tree-lined avenue until the first signboard indication for the "Barfè Hut".
From this point, simply follow the many indication signs for the hut up to the locality "Sea di Torre", where there is the arrival station of the old chair lift of Vandalino.
From this point the road continues flat, crosses a deep valley and emerges in the locality of "Pra la Stella" from where you can enjoy a stunning view of the plain and the mountains of Angrogna Valley. The road now goes down through a beautiful beech forest and reaches the Agritourism "Barfè Hut".
In the last stretch of the road, you will find numerous parking spaces reserved for our guests.
In total 10 km from Torre Pellice referred approximately 2 km of dirt road with a generally good bottom.
Access no.2
From Torre Pellice, continue by car along the Valley of Angrogna (indication signs for Prà del Torno) for approximately 6.5 km until you reach locality "Barfè Bridge" where you will find a large advertising sign of our Farm at a convenient and spacious parking.
After crossing the river that gives its name to the Valley, you take the private dirt road that climbs gently the slope, touching several villages until you reach a small Catholic Chapel at the foot of a larch forest. You leave the road and take the G.T.A. trail leading up the Agritourism "Barfè Hut".
The entire route is signposted; from the bridge Barfè, there are 390 meters of altitude difference and it takes about 50 minutes at an average pace.
Note. Along the road, you can use shortcuts of the old mule track.
